Long-term health effects of road crashes

Long-term injury impairment after a road crash is a large contributor to human suffering. To prevent long-term consequences, there is a need to make stronger links between traditional road safety measures to include healthcare and rehabilitation. The goal of this project is to develop methods regarding the long-term outcomes of road traffic injuries by collaborating with two public health researchers at prominent Australian medical institutes.
