IDEA League Doctoral School on Urban Systems and Sustainability

​IDEA League is a focused network of leading European universities in science and technology. It includes TU Delft, ETH Zurich, RWTH Aachen and from January 2014 also Chalmers. Jörgen Sjöberg represents Chalmers in OB (Operational Board) of the IDEA League.

The postgraduate program is one of the areas of interest for the IDEA League. Postgraduate school on Urban Systems and Sustainability includes a sequence of concentrated activities in which graduate students from the IDEA League universities participate under leadership of researchers from the parties.

Krystyna Pietrzyk represents Chalmers in the process of program development and implementation (participation in the IDEA League meetings, staffing of Architecture's contribution in the course, and the guidance of the Chalmers PhD students in the application process, participation in the selection process, etc.) and is a member of SB (Scientific Board).

Björn Malbert has lectured in Module 1 in Delft on participatory processes in urban planning.

Krystyna Pietrzyk has given a lecture in Module 3 in Aachen about Risk-based design.
