Development of Interdisciplinary Assessment for manufacturing and deSign (DIAS)

DIAS seek to include welding assessment in conceptual design space exploration by introducing simulation abilities for weld simulation. Learning and interactive multidisciplinary decisionmaking based on digitalised experiments enabled through integration and automation of modelling and simulation activities. 

DIAS aim to contribute to the design and realisation of next generation aeroengine structural components - necessary to meet the challenges of ACARE 2050 targets.
