​The project applies a holistic perspective in which not only BIM technology is taken into account but also implications for the organization, way of work as well as the construction context. The purpose of the project  is three-fold:

  1. To gain support to develop new knowledge concerning organizing, leadership and management in relation to BIM, from the early stages of the construction process to facility management, both within firms (intra perspective) and between firms (inter perspective), based on a value-creating and life-cycle perspective.
  2. To promote a long-term development of a strong research and education environment concerning BIM-Management at Chalmers.
  3. Develop cooperation with other national and international schools, departments, research groups and other actors within the BIM-management field.

The project is a prioritsed research area of CMB which focuses on BIM and Management, in which close cooperation between academic partners and CMB companies is aimed at.

The project is carried out at the Division of Construction Management.
