Motivated by potential of graphene, other two-dimensional (2D) materials have also become the centre of
current focus in nanoscience and nanotechnology. In this project we investigate different 2D materials for nanoelectronic and spintronic applications. Particularly, our focus is on MoS2, WS2 and BP as semiconductors and hexagonal-boron nitride as an insulator. These 2D materials will enable us to make atomically thin, multi-functional, flexible and transparent nano-devices.
