Technological innovation systems for sustainable consumption analysis
Can theories on Technological innovation systems be used for analysing sustainable consumption patterns? The case of night train charter holiday
The transition to a sustainable society needs both new technologies and altered consumption patterns. In this seminar we will explore how the functions of Technological Innovation Systems framework can used for understanding the barriers and drivers for sustainable services. We will apply the theory on the case of train charter holidays which is in focus due to the climate discussion but where development and diffusion seems to be connected with several challenges.
This seminar is a part of Chalmers Initiative for Innovation and Sustainability Transitions - CIIST. The seminar is open to researchers as well as practitioners.
The seminar is led by:
• Anna Bergek, Professor in Innovation Systems and Technology Policy
