We study the chemical processes in the interstellar medium and in various cosmic objects. We aim at better understanding of how these processes work in the extreme environments of space and how they can be used as tools to study the physical properties and evolution of objects. We perform observations with telescopes such as ALMA, APEX, IRAM, and NOEMA, and we also conduct numerical experiments to model chemical networks and evolution. With these means, we study the chemical properties of the gas reservoirs of galaxies, active galactic nuclei, star forming regions, evolved stars, and solar system objects.
