Radio telescope at Onsala Space Observatory sheds its skin in August

In August replacing of the protective blanket around the large 20-meter telescope at the Onsala Space Observatory starts. The work begins with the top of the telescope enclosing radome is lifted by a large crane. The upgrade marks a renewed confidence in the telescope, which has contributed to the research since 1976.​​​
