M2 conducts graduate education across areas within all modes of transport while providing access to a wide range of courses. The department has graduate schools in shipping and marine technology, machine and vehicle systems, solid and structural mechanics, and thermo and fluid dynamics.
Graduate education leads to a licentiate degree and / or a PhD provides the opportunity for a continuing career in research and development within industry or the world of higher education.
