Every year approximately 8000 premature deaths is due to air pollution in Sweden and WHO has recently launched new guidelines. The research need is still very big and urgent since society at large lack the detailed knowledge to bridge between air pollution and health effects. There is a lot of on-going research so there is also a need to bring researchers together.
During the day there will be presentations from many different research groups in the Gothenburg region as well as presentations from stake holders. The program ends with a discussion on common interests and identification of synergies in order to enable better air quality and improve health.
Deadline for registration is 29 November.
A detailed agenda will be sent out later.
