Selpi is a researcher at the Data Science and AI division, Computer Science and Engineering department, at Chalmers. She has a PhD in Computing, with a thesis in applied machine learning for bioinformatics problems. She has worked with real data of various types from diverse application areas including traffic safety (e.g., in-vehicle sensor data, traffic measurement data, text data in road crash databases). Currently, she is leading a work package in the H2020 EU PANACEA project, where different datasets will be used for assessing drivers’ fitness-to-drive.
