Conference paper – basic guidelines

The conference papers should also be submitted to Morgan Andersson, morgan.andersson@chalmers.se, and Magnus Rönn, magnus.ronn.arch@gmail.com as a text file in Word, using Times New Roman font pt.11 in the body text. Tables, maps and illustrations should be inserted in the text file.

Submitted papers should be minimum 6000 words but not exceed 8000 words exclusive abstract, references and figures.

Headlines: max 75 characters (with spaces)
Abstract: max 1530 characters (with spaces)
Key words: four (4):

Deviations from this must be agreed with the editors.

The author(s) must finally proofread papers accepted for publication in the proceeding.

The author(s) is responsible for image rights, and all photos/images shall have references.

The maximum number of illustrations is five (5)

The maximum number of authors per paper is four (4).

The authors can submit their papers in the following two categories:
  • Scientific article
  • Academic essay
  • Applied projects

Peer-review system

The scientific articles and academic essays will be double blind peer-reviewed by using two different templates developed by The Nordic Association of Architectural Research. The reviewers are recognised senior researchers, and the review process complies with the same rules as the Nordic Journal of Architectural Research (NJAR).
