URBAN COEXISTENCES

The Master Studio ARCHITECTURE AND URBAN SPACE DESIGN (AUSD), Chalmers Architecture, invites you to Course Exhibition 2018/19.

During the fall semester 2018 The Masters Studio Architecture and Urban Space Design (ARK128 - MPARC programme - Architecture and Civil Engineering) has been working in the field defined between the disciplines of Architecture, Landscape and Infrastructure. First in Almada, on the peripheries of Lisbon-Portugal, for later continuing the investigations in the area of Hjällbo, in the North-East of Gothenburg.

Along that journey the students have been moving from the understanding of specific contexts through analysis to the translation of that knowledge into cartographies, with the final aim of turning them into design proposals.

If you want to know what Almada (Portugal) and Hjällbo (Gothenburg) have in common, then do not hesitate to visit us at this year's exhibition.

The focus is on complex urban spaces that are explored by experimental design methods. The exhibition is subject to the theme "Hybrids of Coexistence". Coexistence takes place in the most diverse areas. This allows a variety of projects, which makes the exhibition exciting and unique.

31 students from 9 different countries.
