Promotion lecture for Professor: Geovisualization, spatial value mapping and stakeholder dialog for sustainable transformation of the built environment
In planning and transformation processes towards climate adapted and liveable cities, both environmental and social aspects need to be included as well as views from different stakeholders. Increasing digitalization opens up for new approaches. In her lecture, Liane will present snapshots from projects she has been involved in during the last years with focus on research on visualization of environmental and social aspects and dialogue tools addressing the integration of qualitative and quantitative data to support multi-stakeholder involvement and participatory processes. A special focus is on the visualization of the invisible and to give the social a voice in the digital world.
