Erica Hörteborn 25% seminar

Textile architecture informed by wind: How can architecture, through the use of textiles, use/benefit from the wind?
The research aims to explore new ways to use textiles in architecture that takes advantages of textile’s specific properties, such as its flexibility, strength and lightness, and to use these properties to adapt to and/or change the wind climate. During the seminar Erica will give a brief background of the project, present some initial investigations and workshops focusing on the movement and perceptions of textiles and talk about the plan for the future research. Following the presentation people are invited to take part in the discussion around the research and future plan.
