May 18 it is once again time for Science and Technology Day. This is the day when the three departments that reside in the Chemistry Building meet over department and division borders, to get to know each other better, settle who has the best poster and much more.
The day is, as usual, divided into three parts:
* The Honorary Lecture with a theme that hopefully is inspiring for researchers across all departments and divisions.
* The poster exhibition in the entrance hall where the best posters win prizes and everyone has the chance to freely display their, and see other’s, research.
* The spring party, this year arranged by the University of Gothenburg and located at Konferenscentrum Wallenberg at Medicinarberget.
There are a few novelties this year. This site, for example, where you may keep yourself updated on the preparations for the event. Here you will find information about time and location for the different parts, themes, the lecturer, poster workshops and other nitty-gritty for the Science and Technology Day 2017.
Another novelty is that participators in the poster exhibition will have the opportunity to, instead of exhibiting a poster, run a small experiment or some kind of demonstration of their research.
Ahead of the Science and Technology Day there will be a poster workshop, arranged by the Communications Unit at Chalmers. This is a great opportunity to become better in drawing attention to your poster.
This is an event that the three departments in the Chemistry Building arrange together. These departments are Biology and Biological Engineering, Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, both Chamlers departments, and Chemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Gothenburg.
