Manipulation, engineering and understanding of thermal and electrical properties of 2D materials; Functionalization of 2D materials
Thermal characterization including Time Domain Time Reflectance method, 3 omega, self-heating, laser-flash, Hot-disk, IR imaging and ASTM steady state method.
Focus of future research:
Characterization of graphene and hBN for thermal and composite applications with special focus on electronics cooling in base station, power modules and mobile devices.
- Characterization of functionalized graphene and graphene oxide for use in concrete piles, fencing and concrete painting.
- Graphene and CNT for advanced 3D electronics interconnect applications.
