She was responsible for launching Häagen-Dazs in the Nordics as European Marketing Manager at Grand Metropolitan Ltd. She graduated with an MBA from Stockholm School of Economics in 1989.

For example, his and Michael Beer’s contributions to the development of the Strategic Fitness Process received the 1998 Award for the Outstanding Organizational Development Project Worldwide from the Organizational Development Institute. He has conducted research and overseen consulting projects focusing on key management issues, including change management, industrial R&D management, leadership, project management and socio-technical systems design. Tobias Fredberg is professor at the division of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at Chalmers University, a co-director of the Corporate Entrepreneurship track at the Chalmers School of Entrepreneurship and director of the Center for Higher Ambition Leadership Europe. Tobias has studied and assisted large, complex organizations in designing and implementing their transformation efforts since the late -90’s. This includes a five year engagement in the telecom industry focused on longitudinal change. Tobias often engages in “action research” projects, where the researcher supports the organization by intervening and studying the effects of the intervention. He is coauthor of the book “Higher Ambition – How Great Leaders Create Economic and Social Value” published by Harvard Business Publishing, 2011 and engages in the development of research initiatives in the Higher Ambition area. He also currently leads one study of the connection between long term strategy and development of leadership capability in large organizations and one study on innovation and organizational transformation in the media industry as an effect of digitalization.

Remy Nilson has been the CEO of ATG, AB Trav och Galopp, a Swedish betting Company in horseracing. Remys journey inside ATG consists of all together 25 years, first 1983-1999 as a Vice President and Marketing Director and finally 2004 - 2012 as CEO. ATG has a history of 23 consecutive years of growth during this period. Remy started his career as a Journalist, first at a local newspaper, Arvika Nyheter, but from 1977 he worked for Expressen and became a US Correspondent for Expressen in 1981. Remy return to media 1999 -2004, when he became the Head of Sport for Swedish Television. Remy studied history, political science and geography at the University in Karlstad and became teacher on High School-level but his career turned quickly into journalism. Today Remy operates as a Senior Advisor, Consultant and Board-member inside media, marketing, sports and leadership. He is linked to several different companies and organizations. He joined Higher Ambition Leadership in US for the first time in 2011.

Mrs Torborg Chetkovich has over 25 years of experience from leading positions within the transport, real estate and infrastructure sector. Her main focus has been to successfully increase profitability and create share-holder value through in-depth turn-arounds in complex environments involving many stakeholders, always with the customer needs in focus for the company and employees to act upon. She began her career at Swedish State Railways between 1991 – 1999, before moving on to Veolia Transport, at the time Sweden ́s largest passenger transportation company, as Transport Director. During 2006 - 2008 she served as Deputy CEO at Veolia Transport Sweden. 2008 she took the position as CEO for MTR Nordic and won their first contract in the region being the tender of the metro operations in Stockholm. In only 9 months she built up the new company and delivered a successful takeover of the metro operations. Mrs. Chetkovich has served as Group CEO at Swedavia, a company operating ten climate neutral airports across Sweden, still focusing on customer and employee satisfaction, profitability and sustainability in order to secure competitive strength over time.

Since January 2015, Maria is the Head of Department at Technology Management and Economics at Chalmers. She is also a Professor at under the division of Innovation and R&D Management. She is also part of the Center for Business Innovation at Chalmers University of Technology and an affiliated researcher to the Centre de Gestion Scientifique (CGS) at Mines ParisTech. Previous leadership roles include Head of Division (Innovation Engineering and Management) and Study Director for the graduate school at the department. Maria Elmquist’s research is mainly focused on the management of innovation, organization of R&D and design activities and strategic change. She is interested in how large companies can work to develop innovation capabilities. Her work has appeared in journals such as Research Policy, R&D Management and Creativity and Innovation Management. Current research includes several projects on developing innovation capabilities and the use of design thinking in large organizations. She is currently supervising two PhD students, on the topics of management ideas and managerial cognition. She has published over fifty scientific articles and conference contributions, a book on concept car development and several book chapters.
