Chalmers AI Research Centre (CHAIR) is entering the next phase where community building and upscaling is in focus. The kick off, September 22 at A working lab, Campus Johanneberg, was the launch of a new way of working for the centre.
“I am pleased to see the great interest shown by the participants. It gives us a good feeling of the time forward, building the AI community here at Chalmers”, says CHAIR Director Daniel Gillblad.
The participants were presented the plans for empowering the AI research at Chalmers.
Tracks and themes
As a base for all AI research at Chalmers, the centre has decided on three tracks, AI Foundations, AI for Science and AI Applications. Within these tracks there will be several CHAIR-supported thematic programmes, themes, proposed and organized by applicants from the CHAIR Faculty. The themes initiate activities like workshops, seminars, international exchanges, and larger grant proposals, funded by the centre.
