AI for Health and Healthy AI

Welcome to a three day conference on 28-30 August with focus on artificial intelligence from both a health and an ethical perspective. The conference is arranged in collaboration between Chalmers AI Research Centre and the Faculty of Science at University of Gothenburg.

The first day of the conference is for teachers, researchers and PhD students at the University of Gothenburg and Chalmers.

The second day is for PhD students from the two universities.

The third day is for all researchers and PhD students at Chalmers, University of Gothenburg and Sahlgrenska University Hospital.

Day 1: Al for Health and Healthy AI (28 August)

Ann-Marie Wennberg Larkö, Sharon Zhou, Henrik Marklund and Oliver Aalami, presents AI solutions in healthcare. Panel discussion with Torbjörn Lundh as moderator.

13:00-16:00
Matthijs Maas, Gordana Dodig Crnovic, Edvin Wedin presents AI and ethics. Panel discussion with Olle Häggström, Marina Axelsson-Fisk and Thore Husfeldt.

Day 2: PhD student workshops (29 August)

The day takes off with a joint introduction, followed by three parallel sessions.

PhD students are invited to present posters on AI research. We especially welcome posters about AI and Health or Healthy AI. To present a poster you will need to submit an abstract (max 300 words) no later than August 20. Send the abstract to gabriella.olshammar@science.gu.se.
