Centre for Process Fluid

The Centre for Process Fluids (PVC) was established in 2007 to share best practices on sustainable manufacturing with respect to process and metalworking fluids. The PVC brings together 30 members – from end users, fluid suppliers, system suppliers and competence providers.

Over the last 10 years, the PVC made substantial effort towards cleaner production, raising awareness on the various aspects of operational health and safety, compliance with the EU’s REACH Regulation, and promoting advanced cooling and lubrication methods in machining.

Core competence-development topics:

• Chemistry aspects
• Process and quality aspects
• Method of manufacture development
