Patrik Jonsson is professor holding a chair in operations and supply chain management. He is Deputy Head of the Department of Technology Management and Economics and Head of the PhD programme. He holds a PhD in production management from Lund University and is CFPIM and CSCP certified at APICS. He is currently in the editorial advisory boards for the European Business Review and the International Journal of Physical Distribution and Logistics Management.

Research interests:

Focus is on manufacturing enterprises and includes supply management, global manufacturing strategies, operations and supply chain planning, and performance management. The PhD thesis was on process disruptions and equipment maintenance. Current projects and interests concern the configuration and implications of demand and S&OP processes, the role of advanced planning and scheduling systems and information quality in planning, and global planning strategies.
