The plans for the MAX IV facility in Lund are taking form. MAX IV has recently released the long term strategy for the build up of the facility. The suite of Phase I beam lines decided and the Phase II beam lines suggested. Chalmers, as well, as other universities are invited to engage in the development of the facility to make it of best use for Swedish science. The purpose of this seminar is to inform about the strategy of MAXIV, to discuss the opportunities, and start the internal work at Chalmers on the strategy for the involvement in the facility. Attached is the MAX IV2020 strategy as well as the suggestion for the Phase II beam lines as background for the discussions.
