The Swedish Life Cycle Center (CPM)
The Swedish Life Cycle Center is a center of excellence for the advance of applied life cycle thinking in industry and other parts of society. It is a collaboration where industry, academy and government join forces in the ambition to reduce the environmental impact of current and future production and consumption systems. The center has been in existence since 1996.
The Centre for Environment and Sustainability, GMV, in Göteborg, Sweden is a network organisation at Chalmers University of Technology and Göteborg University. It promotes research and education for sustainable development.
GMV creates and encourages research projects and multidisciplinary initiatives. Co-operation with the business community in western Sweden as well as the provision of information and education to the general public are part of GMV's brief.
OrM is a research programme on improving the understanding of how environmental problems and environmental impact depend on the organising of activities in society.
RIDE is a research Center focusing on the connection between ‘R&D and Innovation’ and ‘Dynamics of Economies’. It is primarily located at Chalmers University of Technology and was set up after being awarded a VINNOVA grant within the program ’Centers of Excellence for Innovation Systems, R&D and Growth’ in 2004.
