The doctoral student should participate in at least 50 scientific
seminars spread out over time. Any seminar that the doctoral supervisor agrees is relevant to the student's research may be counted. Hence, in principle, any seminar held at the Department of Mathematical Sciences may be counted, as well as any outside seminar of relevance.

The doctoral student is required to
- keep a record of seminars attended and given by the student him/herself,
- write an assay with reflections on what has been learnt.
