The course consists of two parts, Riemannian Geometry I, followed by Yang-Mills theory II. Each part can be taken independently provided the prerequisites are fulfilled. However, it is encouraged that students take both parts.

Differentiable manifolds, Riemannian metrics and manifolds, connections, curvature tensors, geodesics, Lie groups and Mauer-Cartan equations, Gauss-Bonnet theorem, Gauss maps.
