Xuezhi Zeng är teknologie doktor i forskargruppen Biomedicinsk elektromagnetik. Hennes forskningsområden ligger inom bildgivande system baserat på mikrovågsteknik, RFID-teknologi, antenndesign, mikrovågsmätningar och design av mikrovågssystem. Hon deltar i Chase-projektet Sensor Antenna System, där man utvecklar systemhårdvara för mikrovågsdiagnostik. Målet är att utveckla nästa generationens sensor- och antennsystem för medicinska applikationer. Xuezhi tilldelades Guldäpplet 2011 av StudienämndenTeknisk Fysik för sin stora pedagogiska insats och entusiasm.
