Falkenberg is a small town on the Swedish west coast. It has about 20 000 inhabitants, and the surrounding area has a history of both Danish and Norwegian rule. Nowadays, Falkenberg is known as a seaside resort due to its closeness to Skrea Strand. Skrea Strand is a popular beach, spanning more than 10 km of the coastline.

The conference will be held at Hotel Strandbaden, which is also where the participants will be accommodated. Strandbaden is situated on Skrea Strand facing the sea, and thus offers plenty of possibilities to enjoy the beach and various outdoor activities between the scientific sessions. In addition, the participants will be granted free access to Klitterbadet, an indoor bathing facility with pools and saunas.
