The next SAFER doctor is Mikael Ljung Aust, Department of Applied Mechanics and Volvo Cars! On the 13th of April he will present and defend his doctoral thesis, which deals with improvement of the evaluation process for active safety functions.

Title: "Improving the Evaluation Process for Active Safety Functions. Addressing Key Challenges in Functional Formative Evaluation of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems"  

Faculty opponent: Rune Elvik, Chief Research Officer, The Institute of Transport Economics, Oslo, Norway.
