Partners and collaborators of Chase
Chase is built as a Triple Helix network. The core is Chalmers University of Technology, with its long tradition of research on antennas and microwaves. Chase is hosted by the department of Signals and Systems S2. Several research groups are involved, doing research on antennas, signal processing, communication systems, medical engineering and biological effects. Two research institutes, SP and FOI, are associated to the Chase centre. The institutes provide research capacity, experimental resources, experience of different applications and new contact surfaces to industry and society. Chalmers and the institutes have a long background in research collaboration. Two universities besides Chalmers are adjunct to Chase, to add necessary competences within active components (Uppsala University) and conformal antennas (KTH Royal Institute of Technology).
A total of 15 companies, mainly in West Sweden, are partners in Chase. Both spin-off companies, generated from earlier research results, and established telecom industries are on the list.
