CHARMANT AND CHASE
Welcome to Charmant and Chase homepage. The general research area for both centres is Antenna Systems in a broad sense. The centres are hosted by the Department of Signals and Systems (S2) at Chalmers, and involve interdisciplinary collaboration among several research groups and the participating industries.
Charmant is a strategic research centre sponsored by the Swedish Foundation for Strategic Research (SSF), whereas Chase is a VINN Excellence centre that is financed by the Swedish Governmental Agency for Innovation Systems (VINNOVA), industry and Chalmers. Although the research areas are similar, the main objectives of the centers differ. Charmant is oriented towards long-term research with a strategic relevance for Swedish industry, whereas the focus in Chase is on products and innovations. More information can be found at
