Evolved stars with ALMA Cycle 1
Dates: April 12-13, 2012
Place: Onsala Space Observatory / Chalmers University of Technology
Deadline for registration: March 16, 2012 (link in the left column of this page)
The third ALMA Evolved Stars meeting, in preparation of Cycle 1, will take place 12-13 April 2012 at Chalmers University of Technology and Onsala Space Observatory. With an anticipated proposal deadline in July 2012, ALMA Cycle 1 will further enhance the capabilities of the array and allow for exciting evolved star science. However, as time remains limited and ALMA over-subscription is large, the aim of the ALMA evolved star meeting is to maximize the science return and to coordinate proposals.
The meeting will consist of a number of science presentation on Cycle 0 and other relevant recent developments in the field and will allow for a number of break-out session to plan for Cycle 1 proposals.
