Astronomers' days 2011
The Swedish Astronomers' Days 2011 took place 29. September to 1. October, at Chalmers in Gothenburg. During the Astronomers Days, professional and amateur astronomers met to discuss the latest research results and the future development of astronomy. The scientific programme consisted of invited talks, contributed talks, and posters, and included a visit to Onsala Space Observatory and the new LOFAR station on Saturday (1. Oct). The programme started after lunch on Thursday (29. Sept.) and end on Saturday afternoon (1. Oct.). Place: Palmstedtsalen, Student Union Building, Chalmers Campus Johanneberg. The Nordenmark Lecture:Thursday 29 September at 18.00: Popular science lecture, in Swedish, no fee, everyone is welcome! Presentations and photos:The oral presentations will be published at this web site if and when we get permission from the authors to do so. We will also publish some photographs here.
