Tobias Eriksson was born in Sandviken, Sweden, in 1986. He received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology, Göteborg, in 2011. After graduation he joined the Photonics Laboratory at Chalmers University of Technology, where he is currently working towards a Ph.D. degree. His research is focusing on various aspects of long haul fiber optical communication systems with coherent detection.
