We are very pleased to host a cross-disciplinary workshop about Social Sustainability for future manufacturing!

This workshop focuses on what makes up Stimulating workplaces and Corporate Culture.

The workshop series "Socially Sustainable Manufacturing Ecosystems" Roadmap is organized by the EU project SO SMART, which aims at defining scenarios, research roadmaps and guidelines for the development of future European manufacturing ecosystems.

Welcome to special session on state of sustainability within the manufacturing industry

It will be held at the Clarion Hotel Post in "Post 5".

The workshop starts at 13:30 p.m and will finish at 15:30 p.m

Dear Participants of the 6th Swedish Production Symposium,

We would like to invite you to a special session regarding the state of sustainability within the manufacturing industry.

Participants are encouraged to discuss and debate: What is the current status of sustainability in industry? On-going and planned research projects and needs?

• The session starts with a presentation of the current key topics from Finnish SME companies and the point of interests of larger companies in terms of adapting sustainable metrics, reporting and management practices.

• The session will continue with a roundtable discussion regarding the issues fellow researchers have faced in realizing sustainable practices in the academia and industry interaction.

The estimated duration for the session is planned for 2 hours and refreshments are offered to all participating the session.

This session gives the participants a great chance to connect within the domain of bridging gaps between academia and industry as well as connect with fellow researchers within the same area of interests.

All participants are more than welcome to take part in this workshop!
