About

The SKF-Chalmers University Technology Centre (UTC) for Sustainability was initiated in May 2011. It is located at the division of Environmental Systems Analysis (Miljösystemanalys)Chalmers, Gothenburg.

The partnership is a close collaboration between industry and academia. It aims to deliver ground-breaking, industry-focused research on sustainability, a core area for both SKF and Chalmers.

Chalmers

"A sustainable future" is the core vision of Chalmers and sustainability a key attribute. Chalmers sees its task as contributing new knowledge and ideas to promote ecological, social and economic sustainability – in harmony with human culture and Mother Nature. It performs research and education within technology, natural science, and architecture, and currently has approximately 11 000 students and 2400 employees.

Environmental Systems Analysis

The Division of Environmental Systems Analysis conducts research and teaching across a broad area of technical sustainability topics. It focuses on technical solutions to enable the process to a more sustainable future.
