Scientific programmes

GAC has identified four core topics as scientific programmes. Within these areas GAC are  or will play an active role. Revision of the scientific programmes is done continuously in order to match the interest of GAC members. Current scientific programmes are also described in the strategic plan of GAC.

In 2010 the GAC board decided to revise the scientific programmes and initiate a process to establish new programmes. At the GAC conference 2010 drafts on content of the four new programmes were presented. See this file.

The steering committees for each of the programmes will invite to selected work-shops and discuss content and future activities within respectively programmes.

New programmes:

  • Atmospheric Processes
  • Atmospheric Earth System Interactions
  • Urban Air and Health
  • Aerobiology
