GAC 3rd conference on Atmospheric Science was held in May 20, 2008.

The special focus of the symposium was on the three GAC initiated areas each with special session:

•Air pollution in a changing climate, Chair: John Munthe, IVL
•Urban and indoor air quality and health effects, Chair: Gerd Sällsten, University of Gothenburg
•Integration of satellite and traditional measuring technique, Chair: Gunnar Elgered, Chalmers University of Technology

"Atmospheric aerosols: sources, transformation processes and impact"
