At the Final Conference Marine Paint will present its findings and put them into perspective with invited speakers from academia, industry, authorities and regulatory agencies.

Marine Paint and the Centre for Environment and Sustainability, GMV, in Gothenburg are organising the meeting, which will cover the following topics:

• Biology of fouling organisms with a special focus on barnacles

• Antifouling biocides: use, efficacy, ecotoxicology

and environmental occurrences

• Marine coatings: paint formulation and performance

• Regulation, legislation and society

The conference will take place at Novotel in Gothenburg, Sweden on the 14th and 15th of May 2012, from lunch to afternoon.

Conference participation is free of charge. A limited number of seats are available, which will be distributed on a first come first serve basis.
