Call for Ideas: A Chalmers Day for a Sustainable Future

2012-08-29 av GMV
You are welcome with ideas to show that Chalmers can make difference. Tomorrow's engineers work in a global and transnational world, but also locally. This years theme is West Sweden and how West Sweden can be developed into a Global lab to create the world's new sustainability solutions and how Chalmers can play a role in this.

A Chalmers Day for a Sustainable Future will take place the 30 November 2012.
The world faces two major Challenges. We are now more than 7 billion people on Earth and there are increasing demands on welfare - while ecological, social and economic systems already are very strained.  There is consequently an increasing demand for sustainable solutions and Chalmers can play an important role in the transformation towards a sustainable society. The complex challenges require interaction not only between researchers but also between academia, and the public and private sector.

You are welcome with  ideas to show that Chalmers can make difference. Tomorrow's engineers work in a global and transnational world, but also locally. This will be a day that inspires and demonstrates that Chalmers has taken the challenges seriously.

Help spread the word about Call for Ideas to get ideas and proposals on how to make this day as good and rewarding as possible. We look forward to innovative and interesting proposals from all of you. Deadline 30 September 2012.
