Mission Statement

Representatives from the following Swedish universities and laboratories agreed to form an consortium for the participation in the preparation and construction of the upcoming FAIR facility in Germany:

• Chalmers University of Technology

• Göteborg University

• Lund University

• Stockholm University

• KTH Stockholm

• Uppsala University

• Manne Siegbahn Laboratory

• The Svedberg Laboratory
  

Aim of the Consortium

• Ensure the strong Swedish participation and representation at FAIR.

• Coordinate the Swedish contributions in funds and in-kind.

• Act as a link between the FAIR management, the Swedish funding agencies and the Swedish scientific community.

• Work for a close interaction with theorists in the fields.
