Vincent Desmaris

Associate Professor, Department of Space, Earth and Environment, Onsala Space Observatory, Advanced receiver development (GARD)

Vincent is a part of the research group Avanced Receiver Development (GARD) and works mainly with development and micro fabrication of microwave and terahertz components that is used in all receiver systems that GARD produces.

Vincent is also main supervisor to PhD students at GARD, with focus on superconductive materials and components.

Vincent got his M.Sc in material science at INSA-Lyon, France, in 1999. He got his PhD in microwave electronics in 2006 at Chalmers University of Technology.

Short after that Vincent joined GARD.
