Naveen Kumar Vate


Dr Naveen Kumar Vate is a post-doctoral researcher at division of Food and Nutrition Science working on the project focusing on innovative methods for extraction of collagen and its peptides from invasive marine species and by-catches for different applications. The goal is to develop a sustainable protein extraction method from the underutilized marine species for the commercial exploitation. He also has worked on the extraction and characterization of proteins and enzymes from the marine organisms and application in food and biofilms for the improvement of textural and storage qualities.
