PhD student; Dep. of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Applied Chemistry; Andreas Dahlin Group

I am a PhD student at Andreas Dahlin group. My research focus ranges from thermo-responsive polymer brush functionalized nanostructures for biomolecule gating to polymer/protein interactions and biomolecule sensing. The main goal of my PhD is to manufacture a robust system to gate protein transport at will. Once this is reached it could be possible to measure biomolecule interaction and their conformational change over time on a single molecule level, which is important when trying to understand how diseases develop.
