Sima Ajdari

PhD Student, Department of Space, Earth and Environment, Energy Technology.

Sima’s work is dedicated to the development of new flue gas cleaning processes applicable to carbon dioxide (CO2) capture and storage systems. The main focus of her research is on the design of new removal processes for simultaneous removal of nitrogen oxides (NOX) and sulfur oxides (SOX) during the compression of flue gases in the CO2 capture schemes. Currently, her work is concentrated on the experimental and modeling studies of the chemistry of NOX and SOX at pressurized conditions.
