Pernilla Hagbert


Pernilla Hagbert is a Doctoral Student at Dept. Of Architecture, division of Building Design, at Chalmers and visiting Doctoral Student at the division of Urban and Regional Studies, Dept. of Urban Planning and Environment at KTH.
Pernilla's work more specifically examines the socio-cultural aspects of home-related practices, notions and representations, and housing development in light of a global resource and climate perspective. The purpose of the research is to provide knowledge relevant to the creation of a [more] sustainable built environment and alternative future visions.
Pernilla is part of the trans-disciplinary research project ”Beyond GDP growth: Scenarios for sustainable building and planning” at KTH.
​Studio assistant, critic and lecturer in both the undergraduate and graduate program, mainly within sustainable development, social/humanitarian design and housing issues.
