Elvire De Beck

Assistant Professor, Department of Space, Earth and Environment, Astronomy and Plasma Physics, Galactic Astronomy

Elvire is an astronomer with a main research interest in the outflows from evolved stars. She studies the chemistry and kinematics using observational data from both ground-based and spaceborne telescopes, such as APEX, the OSO 20m and IRAM 30m telescopes, ALMA, and Herschel.
Elvire has recently obtained funding from the Swedish National Space Board to conduct this research, with a focus on inventorising and modelling the molecular content of such outflows.
