Armin Corbin

Project assistant, Department of Space, Earth and Environment, Onsala Space Observatory Division.

Armin Corbin works at the Onsala Space Observatory. He develops scheduling strategies for Very Long Baseline Interferometry sessions. That means he determines which radio telescopes are observing which radio source at what time and for how long. The scheduling is important because it predetermines the geometric configuration and thus the accuracy of the estimated parmaters. The goal is to find the schedules providing the best parameter estimation.
