Josué Amílcar Parra Cetina

Postdoc researcher, Microtechnology and Nanoscience, Photonics Laboratory

Josué Amílcar Parra Cetina received the M.Sc. degree in Electronics and Telecommunications from Scientist Research Institute and of Further Education of Ensenada (CICESE), Ensenada, Baja California, México, in 2008, and the Ph.D degree in the RINCE Institute, Dublin City University, Dublin, Ireland, in 2014. During his Ph.D Studies he was engaged in research on mode locked lasers and their applications in the optical networks, mainly all-optical clock recovery with quantum dash mode locked lasers, as well as optical time-division multiplexing (OTDM) systems. Since March 2014, he has been with the Photonics Laboratory, Chalmers University of Technology, as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow. His current research interests include phase-sensitive amplification and all-optical signal processing.
