PhD student; Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, Physical Chemistry

PhD student at the Department of Chemical and Biological engineering since Mars 2013, my research focuses on developing nano-sized structures designed for artificial photosynthesis. These nano-sized structures are composed of biological compounds and pigments; their role is to efficiently receive energy from light and transport it towards a specific spot where a reaction can occur. This project takes part of a growing area of science studying new ways of using solar energy for various applications.
